 Inception
The vision of CMF originated in Nigeria from the concern for
Nigerian Christians to contribute their quota in world evangelization.
He first outreach was held between 15th and 17th, 1981 at
IDERE in response to the challenges of guinea-worn infection
that affected 40% of the population .
It was then that resolution
was to carry out holistic missionary programs in the rural
areas. CMF was formally inaugurated on may 15th, 1982 at
the university of IBADAN .
In CÔTE-D’IVOIRE, FMC (CMF in French language)
originated 1988. Some students from Nigeria came along to improve
their French language . They shared the vision and FMC in CÔTE-D’IVOIRE
as prayer cell for the Unreached people in the world.
In 1993 FMC became a local sending missionary Agency among
the Unreached people of CÔTE-D’IVOIRE.
Objectives
Our primary objective are to mobilize, recruit, train and send
African missionary to preach the gospel and plant churches
where none exist. Actually in CÔTE-D’IVOIRE, their
are 13 Unreached ethnic groups with less than 2% of believers
and no local church strong enough to reproduce itself.
Our mission was already among 9 of this people.
